Our Next Community Service Event is Food Packaging with
Rise Against Hunger scheduled for March 16, 2023.
Rise
Against Hunger (RAH), founded in 1998, is an organization dedicated to
alleviating hunger in populations in crises, both at home and
internationally. This organization is uniquely structured to engage
community participation from service clubs and volunteer groups.
30-40
volunteers gather at a designated community facility
to package the dry food ingredients which are provided by RAH. Volunteer
groups pay for the supplies, but RAH brings them to the venue, along with
a trainer to orchestrate the event.
On Thursday, March 16, from 6-9pm, volunteers will gather at Westminster Presbyterian Church , 10 W Pleasant Grove Rd and rt 202, south of West Chester.
If your interested in participating, contact John Spellman <jspell1005@aol.com>.
